Anor Design

Pomegranates, or anor in Uzbek, with their bright and dark red colours, hold special meanings of life, abundance, love, and fertility. In Uzbekistan, they are considered as the national fruit. This fruit has been a favourite motif for female artisans and an important influence for this design of Nanajon’s collection.

Nanajon’s design draws inspiration from a traditional embroidered textile called suzani. In the Anor design, modern interpretations of floral and plant motifs surround the pomegranates, creating a design that is both harmonious and vibrant. By incorporating the symbolism of the national fruit, it pays tribute to Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage while adding a lively touch to the artwork.

Traceability

Nanajon is committed to sustainable and ethical practices and we work hard to ensure that products are produced in a way that is environmentally and socially responsible.

We are also strong advocate of supply-chain transparency, and aim to share the origin of every component used during the manufacturing process to give you a comprehensive traceability of each product.
